US-based Cengage lauds Mapua for digital activation initiatives
US-based education and technology company Cengage has tagged Mapúa University as among the most digital-ready universities in Asia. In 2019, Mapúa activated a total of 1,943 digital courses created by Cengage for the University, spanning 73 subjects with 45,894 digital student enrollments. This was the highest for any single university based on Cengage’s records of universities in the Philippines and in Asia.
ETYSBM and ETYSC holds its financial literacy seminar
The ETYSC, together with the ETYSBM, has recently conducted a financial literacy seminar with renowned speaker, radio host and financial literacy guru, Ms. May Villa. The seminar saw students asking questions about income types, saving up for the future and picking the right investment instrument to ensure their financial security. With an attendance of almost 60 students, the seminar became a joyful and educational affair as students were very eager and interested to learn. This was held last November 27, in the Cardinal Hall.
